Knowledge Share / Knowledge Serve Program

Assalamu Alaikom,

This program is aimed towards community educational development. The program is divided into three sections:

 Section 1: Knowledge Share:        

This section is geared towards inviting the community members who hold professional careers to volunteer in giving a presentation about a topic of their choice in their respected field.

  1. Length of session can be up to 2 hours and can be followed up with another session if instructor and attendees are interested.

  2. Location is in the Masjid or one of the classes in the apartment.

  3. Fields or profession can include medical doctors, attorneys, dentists, psychologists, computers, scientists, car mechanics, real estate, etc.

  4. Registration for these sessions is required and based on the number of attendees we will setup/announce the date/time of the workshop.

  5. Nominal fee ($10) is required for attendance.

 

Section 2: Knowledge Serve:

 This section is geared towards inviting community members to volunteer some time in providing free Diagnostics/Service/Consultation (Professional format) involving their own professional careers to any interested individuals within the community in a pre-determined day/time.   

  1.   Length of session can be 2-4 hours or per appointment/registration.

  2. Fields or profession can include medical doctors, dentists, psychologists, computers, scientists, car mechanics, real estate, etc.

  3. Registration for these sessions is required and based on the number of attendees we will setup/announce the date/time of the workshop.

  4. Nominal fee ($10) is required for attendance.

 

Section 3: Knowledge Serve: (serving the youth)

This section is geared towards inviting professional community members to volunteer in providing professional environment to any interested teenager individuals within the community.

  1. Length of session can be from 3 hours up to a whole day.

  2. Fields or profession can include medical doctors, dentists, psychologists, computers, scientists, car mechanics, real estate, etc.

  3. Interested professionals should register for the date/time they can be available to host interested brothers/sisters. (Summer time would be the best).

  4. Interested brothers/sisters (12 years old up to 20 years old) can sign up for these sessions and we will arrange the schedule.

  5. Nominal fees ($10).
